The NFL officially approved billionaire Julia Koch ‘s purchase of a 10% stake in the Giants on Wednesday.

The landmark New York football franchise was valued at $10.3 billion in the minority ownership sale, per CNBC , which marks the highest valuation placed on an NFL team for a team sale to date.

The Mara and Tisch families remain the primary owners. John Mara will continue in his role as president and CEO, and Steve Tisch will continue as executive vice president and chairman of the board.

Koch joins as a minority stakeholder during the franchise’s 101st season of operation.
