A pair of charities in Lethbridge is receiving major national recognition.

Charity Intelligence has released its Top 100 Charities list, which celebrates non-profits that strengthen philanthropy by having “world-class” disclosure about their reporting and spending.

The group considers metrics like financial transparency, results reporting, need for funding, cents to the cause, and demonstrated impact.

Interfaith Food Bank

This is the third consecutive year that the Interfaith Food Bank has made the list.

It received a “high” rating for demonstrated impact and a B+ for results reporting.

Approximately 90 per cent of the $1.382 million donated to Interfaith this past year went to the cause.
