With arguably the best post player and the most versatile player in the nation returning to Iowa State this season, the Cyclones women’s basketball team is well-positioned to have a big 2025-26 campaign.

Iowa State opens the season ranked No. 17 in the USA TODAY Sports Network Coaches preseason poll released on Oct. 23. The Cyclones were No. 14 in the Associated Press preseason poll released earlier in October.
