Mid-Hudson Valley could see temperatures below freezing Oct. 25

The National Weather Service said the mid-Hudson Valley can expect sunny skies Oct. 25-26, but it will be cold, with overnight low temperatures close to or below freezing, and frost in some spots.

Oct. 25 will begin with some patchy frost before 9 a.m. in Orange County.

After that, the day will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid-50s in Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties, and partly sunny with high temperatures around 50 degrees in Sullivan County.

That night will be mostly cloudy with low temperatures in the mid-30s in Dutchess and Ulster counties, and partly cloudy in Orange and Sullivan counties.
