Cooler weather has arrived, leaves are falling, and individuals are preparing for the cold winter months ahead. The change in season affects everyone differently, some with the excitement and joy of the holiday seasons, others with the reality of cold days and colder nights. Some with the reality that a warm bed may not be guaranteed and others wonder how they will provide a warm nutritious meal for their family. Our local food and shelter programs are filled each day, and the cold weather will increase the demand for support. Donations to food programs are key to ensuring healthy meals can continue vulnerable clients. We have winter coat and winter clothing programs for children each year, food drives, individuals knitting hats, mitts and scarves, Christmas Sharing programs and toy drives
