Meta, Amazon, Comcast , Google, Microsoft and Apple are among the companies who have made donations to build Donald Trump ‘s 90,000-square-foot ballroom at the White House .

The Trump administration released a list of donors on Thursday, per CNN, as the White House has defended plans for the project, which received a new level of attention with the images of crews tearing down the East Wing this week.

NBC Nightly News led with the East Wing demolition on Thursday, and disclosed parent Comcast’s involvement as part of the report. It’s unclear what the size of the donation was. A Comcast spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
