ALAMEDA, Calif. (KRON) -- KRON4 News cameras captured the moment an apparent flash grenade went off amid a group of anti-ICE protesters in Alameda Thursday morning.

Around 7:15 a.m., marchers reported the use of "flash bangs" in an attempt to disperse the crowd from the entrance and allow vehicles to get through. Tanya Brown said she was there when two loud bangs were fired by a masked individual, coming from the Coast Guard facility, wearing plainclothes and a tactical vest.
