The Seattle Seahawks are off this week, which is a good time for some rest and relaxation and maybe even some reflection.
At 5-2, the Seahawks are tied for the NFC West lead (but lose the tiebreaker to the San Francisco 49ers on the head-to-head). Only the Green Bay Packers have fewer losses than Seattle in the NFC, but it’s also an extremely congested conference in which it’s very possible that 10-7 will once again not be enough for a playoff berth. The standard for winning the NFC West may also be no fewer than 12 wins, which is probably what we should’ve expected entering the season.
