The highly anticipated “Stranger Things” conclusion is worthy of the big screen.
Screenings of the upcoming series finale will be held in over 350 movie theaters in the U.S. and Canada on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The two-hour episode will also premiere on Netflix on Dec. 31.
“We’re beyond excited that fans will have the chance to experience the final episode of Stranger Things in theaters,” series co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer said in a statement. “It’s something we’ve dreamed about for years, and we’re so grateful to [Netflix co-CEO] Ted [Sarandos], [Chief Content Officer] Bela [Bajaria], and everyone at Netflix for making it happen.
