To the editor:

I have known Shawn Fenn for nearly 10 years. We met coaching our daughters basketball teams together, and he then became president of the Newburyport Girls Basketball Association, a league my younger daughter still plays in. Through this exposure to Shawn, I saw his dedication and commitment to building the NGBA into the thriving organization with 200 players that it is today.
