Vedanta is set to establish a state-of-the-art Ferro Alloys plant in Keonjhar district with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore. In addition, the company will also set up two new aluminium parks in Odisha as part of its large-scale industrial expansion plan.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that these upcoming industrial projects will be ‘game-changers’ for the bright future of Odisha, significantly boosting the state’s industrial and employment landscape.
Taking to his X handle, CMO Odisha shared, “In a major boost to Odisha’s industrial growth, Vedanta Group will invest around Rs 1 lakh crore in the State, creating over 1 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities.
