After losing two of their last three games, the Minnesota Vikings are trying to start building more consistently positive momentum against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night. Fortunately, in that process, the Vikings might see the return of one of their most important and impactful players.
According to the Vikings' final injury report for Thursday night's short-week matchup, starting running back Aaron Jones is listed as questionable after missing Minnesota's last four games with a hamstring injury. It seems that questionable listing is more of a precaution than anything, considering that ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed Jones would return to the Vikings' lineup on Thursday night, barring any setbacks.
This is obviously huge news for a 3-3 Vikings team that could use all the help on offense it can get:
Jordan Mason had taken the lion's share of Vikings carries in Jones' absence, rushing for 380 yards and four touchdowns in the process. Now, Minnesota can ideally use both tailbacks in productive, complementary roles.
