ICRS State branch holds 38th AGM
Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio on Thursday called for renewed dedication to humanitarian cause and involvement of young people whom he described as the ‘torchbearers of empathy’ and the future of the Red Cross in the State.
Speaking at the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Nagaland State Branch 38th annual general meeting ceremonial function at Red Cross Complex, he encouraged the members and volunteers to continue their noble work “in the true spirit of service and humanity.”
Reflecting on the society’s journey since its inception in 1982, CM Rio, who is also the vice president of the IRCS Nagaland, described the State branch as “a beacon of hope, compassion and voluntary service.”
