A Burbank man was arrested after drugs were delivered to him through Uber couriers, Burbank police told NBC Los Angeles exclusively Thursday.
Officers with the Burbank Police Department were initially sent to the area of Olive Avenue and Fifth Street at around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday about an Uber package delivery.

Two couriers told police that they had picked up an unsealed iPhone box from a person in Glendale, being asked to deliver it to the Burbank location.
As they were driving to the destination, they noticed the unsealed box had a white, rock-like substance.
Once they arrived at the Burbank address, a man, holding a wrench, approached them. Fearing for their safety, the couriers called the police.
