( 25News Now ) - Former state senator and state representative Darren Bailey has announced the loss of his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren, after a helicopter crash in Montana.

The Wednesday night crash killed his son Zachary, wife Kelsey, and Vada Rose, age 12, and Samuel, age 7.

A third grandson, Finn, age 10, was not on the helicopter and is safe.

NBC Montana said the National Transportation Safety Board reports a Robinson Helicopter R66 crashed near Ekalaka, Montana.

The FAA lists an R66 registered to Bailey Aviation Management LLC., According to FlightAware, an R66 helicopter with that same tail number was last seen on a flight in Montana on Oct. 7.
