As Halloween approaches, the student body at Harmony Magnet Academy has been preparing for its 18th annual Harvest Festival, which takes place today from 5 to 8:30 pm.
The Festival features a carnival, orchestrated by Harmony’s ASB program and its various school clubs, as well as a performance showcasing the talents and dedication of students in Harmony’s Academy of Performing Arts Pathway.
“ This year’s students are very resilient, hardworking, artistic, creative, and they are all amazing,” said Holly Jones, HMA teacher and dance program director. “They make me love my job, and I look forward to what they do every year.”
The carnival begins at 5 p.m. in the HMA quad with a wide variety of activities such as a cake walk sponsored by Harmony’s CSF chapter, a haunted house run by the ASB
