FREEPORT, Ill. — Two people were arrested in Freeport after guns and drugs were found in their home.

At 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Freeport Police Department Emergency Response Team officers arrived at a house in the 300 block of N. West Avenue to use a search warrant they had obtained.

When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Aveon Curry and 39-year-old Heather Curry inside the house.

Officers then recovered about 110 grams of suspected cocaine, 240 grams of suspected cannabis, four semi-automatic pistols, and one AK47 pistol.

Aveon and Heather Curry were taken to Stephenson County Jail.

The Stephenson County State's Attorney gave Aveon and Heather the following charges:

Aveon Curry

Possession with the intent to deliver between 100 and 400 grams of a controlled substance
