‘Truly Despicable’: Andrew Cuomo Slammed for Agreeing With Radio Host That Mamdani Would ‘Cheer’ for 9/11

Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo was harshly criticized for agreeing with a radio host Thursday that Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani would have cheered for the 9/11 attacks.

It all started when Cuomo appeared on , hosted by Sid Rosenberg , on Thursday. While talking about the New York City mayoral debate the previous night, Cuomo suddenly brought up the September 11 attacks. His argument was that New York deals with countless crises and other serious events, and that Mamdani would not be able to handle it all.

“Can you imagine Mamdani in the seat [on 9/11]?” Cuomo said.
