MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Here in my home studio, I often like to plug in my imitation Paul McCartney bass, but it never sounds like the real deal.

The real deal, though, was in Minnesota last Friday.

Beatles manager Brian Epstein and promoter Sid Bernstein invented the stadium rock concert tour in 1965.

The Fab Four played Met Stadium that summer, and Lorene Couture of Deer River was there, and her mom actually got close to one of the band members.

“She said I touched one and we said Paul, it was Paul, and she said no, it was the other one,” said Lorene.
