HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A Connecticut filmmaker is shooting a political thriller across the state.
Hawk Studios, founded by Joe Hawk, is producing the film.
Hawk was born in Connecticut and started in the industry as a writer in 2016. He is a 10-time award winning indie filmmaker.
Hawk Studio’s new Connecticut-based film is titled “The White House is Fake”. Hawk clarified it’s not about any current political issues as it dates back to 1957.
In a podcast with Channel 3’s Renee DiNino, Hawk said this is a political thriller that includes secret tunnels in Connecticut.
He also mentioned that they’re looking for extras in November.
The production is filming all over the state. They’re headed to Ansonia, Tolland, Putnam, Farmington, Old Wethersfield, and even the West Haven Police Depart
