FLINT -- It was another successful year in the books for Saginaw Valley League South play as Grand Blanc and Flint Powers Catholic went down to the wire for the top spot.

The two teams ended with identical league records (4-0-1) after tying each other on August 25, making the SVL Golf Club Final on Oct. 2 the defining moment for which team would be crowned the overall SVL champion.
