Belleville Police unveiled a new four-year strategic plan to create a more visible, responsive and engaging police service to meet increasing needs by city officers and the public for safer streets amid the trials and tribulations of a city facing unprecedented challenges.
In a police services board meeting address on Thursday, chair Heather Smith said the new path ahead will forge a more cohesive, measurable approach to improving policing across the city.
