Volunteers, homeowners and community leaders filled Alexander’s Premier Banquet Facility on Tuesday, Oct. 21, to celebrate Blue Water Habitat for Humanity ’s 35 years of service and to honor longtime Executive Director Ernest Werth-Toward as he stepped into retirement.
The evening’s program, 35 Years on Memory Lane, reflected on the organization’s growth and its impact across St. Clair and Sanilac counties. The celebration also served as a fundraiser supporting Habitat’s ongoing mission to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing.
