LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Grammy-winning Louisville Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony alongside a world premiere with Tessa Lark this weekend.

The Orchestra is presenting three contemporary works from new and former Louisville Orchestra Creators Corps composers including Anthony Green’s “Ev’ry Time I Blink,” Chelsea Komschlies’ “A Hidden Sun Rises” and the world premiere of Lisa Bielawa’s “Violin Concerto,” a new commission written for violinist Tessa Lark. The show culminates with Beethoven’s “Pastoral Symphony,” which some call one of classical music’s greatest symphonic masterpieces.
