Bell has announced that Google Pixel devices are having trouble calling emergency services such as 9-1-1.
On Thursday afternoon, Bell said, “Important: Customers with Google devices from the Pixel 7, 8, 9 and 10 families are experiencing difficulties contacting 9-1-1. We are actively engaged with Google to identify the cause and resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
The company added , “please ensure you have an alternative means to reach emergency services if necessary.”
Google’s Pixel 7 launched in October 2022, followed by the Pixel 8 one year later; the Pixel 9 debuted in August 2024, and the Pixel 10 in August 2025, marking Google’s shift to earlier annual release cycles for its flagship lineup.
Not being able to call 9-1-1 is definitely concerning, but it sounds like a fix
