CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Typically, a city collector race is pretty uneventful. However, this year in Chicopee, one candidate told us he’s been dealing with hurdle after hurdle and the rumors circulating about him seem to be the talk of the town.

Raj Sanghvi took to Facebook posting that over the past few days, 6 large and about 20 to 30 small Raj for Collector signs have gone missing. As we reported back in June, Sanghvi filed a police report after a large sign was stolen from the front of his gas station.

A few months later, Sanghvi is chalking the theft up to some early Halloween pranks. However there have also been some rumors circulating during the election that he would like to clear up including his citizenship, marital status, and ownership of his businesses and properties.
