CLEVELAND — Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb announced a $21 million project Thursday to modernize the city’s five police district buildings — a key part of his administration’s broader RISE (Raising Investment in Safety) Initiative to strengthen public safety and improve working conditions for officers.

The project, a partnership between the city of Cleveland, Cleveland City Council, the Cleveland Division of Police, and Leopardo Energy, will focus on upgrades including new roofs, windows, heating and cooling systems, and solar panel installations. Construction is scheduled to begin in November, with all police stations remaining open during the work.
