CHICAGO (WGN) - Chicago police have issued a warning to the public after a string of armed robberies linked to social media meetups on the Far South Side.

Police said the incidents happened at the following times and locations: • 12400 block of S State St on August 13, 2025 at 2:15 pm (West Pullman) • 1500 block of W 111th St on August 20, 2025 at 3:10 am (South Side) • 11800 block of S La sale St on August 20, 2025 at 4:00 am (West Pullman) • 1 block of W 108th Pl on September 02, 2025 at 12:30 am (Roseland) • 300 block of E 105th St on October 16, 2025 at 7:30 pm (Roseland) • 100 block of W 127th St on October 23, 2025 at 6:57 am (West Pullman)
