FORT WHITE, Fla. (WCJB) — A Columbia County judge approved a bond reduction for a mother charged with child abuse after nine of her children were removed from their Fort White home over the summer.

Jill Griffeth’s bond was reduced from $500,000 to $200,000.

According to her arrest report, the children shared details of abuse, including being confined to a makeshift cage.

Her husband Brian and two of her adult children, Dallin and Liberty Ann, are also charged with child abuse. They are scheduled for a pretrial conference on Oct. 29.
