LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A Louisville man who is already behind bars has been indicted for murder in connection to a May shooting.

Louisville Metro Police announced Thursday the indictment of 46-year-old Fragust Ford Sr.

They said that on the morning of May 26, a person was found dead in the 1600 block of Patton Court in Park Hill. They later determined he had been shot.

Court documents identify the victim as Paul McMahan.

On Wednesday, a grand jury indicted Ford on a charge of murder and two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon in connection to the shooting.

He's already at Roederer Correctional Complex in LaGrange on unrelated charges.

Court documents say he began serving a five-year sentence in August for wanton endangerment and weapons charges related to an altercatio
