CEW has a new president.

The industry organization has named Elana Drell Szyfer its new president, effective Jan. 1. She succeeds Carlotta Jacobson, who held the role since 1999, and is becoming the organization’s executive chair.

“Elana’s leadership, empathy and vision give me enormous hope for what lies ahead. I admire her forward-thinking abilities, and I am honored to work closely with her to continue advancing our organization,” Jacobson said in a statement.

Drell Szyfer, who has sat on CEW’s board of governors for the past 10 years, most recently served as the chief executive officer of RéVive Skincare , which was acquired by S’Young Group from Tengram Capital Partners in 2024.
