WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - A large joint operation in Wisconsin led to over 100 traffic stops in a single day and numerous arrests for drug offenses and of wanted individuals.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the joint effort was with the county's Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Unit and Germantown Police Department on Wednesday evening to identify and discourage criminal activity in 'key' traffic areas in the southern portion of the county.
Deputies and officers coordinated efforts to identify and find criminal activity, from drug offenses to wanted fugitives.
