CHESHIRE, Conn. (WFSB) - Artificial intelligence is helping Connecticut business professionals make better connections at networking events.
Sal Marino, head of strategic partnerships at Middletown computer support company Charles IT, and Ashley Volkens, marketing director at the Beardsley Zoo, were paired together by an AI-powered matchmaking algorithm at a recent networking event.
“The algorithm is able to, like, show why you guys have commonalities together, what interests and things like that,” Marino said. “It allows you to, like, strengthen those relationships because you get past the business side.”
The connection was made at a networking event at the Connecticut Convention Center hosted by Cheshire digital marketing company Rebellion Group. CEO Bryn Tindall created the algorithm
