The front patio of Bubba’s 33 was filled with dogs in costumes Wednesday evening, Oct. 22 as various groups set up a photo scene and tables full of treats for furry friends to celebrate the first Bark & Treat held at the restaurant.
“We wanted to do something different,” said Michael Davilla, manager of Bubba’s 33 in Amarillo. “We have a pet friendly patio, so we kind of want to make sure people know about it. So, I thought the best way to do it before Halloween was to get fur babies all dressed up, bring them out and let them enjoy.”
Davilla said people could have a dinner and have the kids out playing around with dogs, too. “We planned a contest for first, second and third winners chosen by the Amarillo Wranglers."
