LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - A Kearney man will remain in prison as he continues to serve his sentence in a horrific attack on Halloween night more than two decades ago.
Aaron Manning, now 47, was convicted of two counts of attempted first-degree murder in Buffalo County District Court after brutally attacking an Odessa woman and her teenage daughter in 2004.
Manning had his parole hearing on Thursday where his parole was denied, and he was deferred for an offender review for October 2026.
He was sentenced to 40 to 50 years for attempted murder on each count, but the judge ordered that the sentences be served at the same time.
