WHEELING, W.Va. –A new set of students have won the title of 2025 Culineering Champion.

The Drive and Dine Coyotes from Wetzel County Technical Education Center were named the grand champions Thursday at Oglebay Park Resort in Wheeling.

Second place went to the Culinary Caddies from Wheeling Park High School; third place went to the MCTEC Culineers from Mercer County Technical Education Center.

The competition was hosted by the West Virginia Department of Education Office of Career Technical Education (CTE).

The nine teams were challenged to create an original putt-putt golf course based off of one of the nine tourist regions within the state. As part of the design, each hole had to incorporate moving parts and an edible component infused with a tea flavor. The competition is based off
