SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — "If we're going to do anything about poverty and a lot of the other social problems that we see, we need to do something to help fathers be more engaged with their children and their families," said Founder Dr. Jennifer Baker.

Dr. Jennifer Baker saw the importance of having a strong father figure in the home. She created Goods Dads to help fix the lack of father focused programs in the US.

"Many of the children that we were seeing were growing up in a home with out of dad, and I could see that there was a lot of instability. Of course, single parent moms, some of them do a fabulous job, but it's really hard." said Dr. Baker.

Good Dads is a non profit organization with multiple chapters throughout the state encouraging fathers to be more engaged in their families lives
