Whether you’re hopping on or off, Kansas City’s new Main Street streetcar extension is giving everyone something to celebrate.

After nearly three years of construction, the long-awaited extension adds three and a half miles to the existing route, connecting downtown Kansas City to the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Advertisement

Businesses along the route are marking the milestone with pop-ups, parties, and limited-edition merchandise.

Local streetwear brand Made Mobb, which first collaborated with the Kansas City Streetcar nearly a decade ago, is back with a new collection.
