WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A 21-year-old and an 18-year-old were arrested on gun charges after police executed a search warrant on Tuesday.
New Haven police shared information around 7 p.m. on Tuesday indicating that 21-year-old Di'Lon Gray was illegally in possession of firearms. Gray had an active arrest warrant for escape issued by the Connecticut State Police (CSP) at the time.
Wallingford police took Gray into custody outside of his house as he approached a vehicle parked in front of the home.
Police arrested 18-year-old Tyrell Outlaw, who was present in the vehicle, and found that he was in possession of a handgun with a high-capacity magazine. An additional firearm was found in the car in the area where Gray had been sitting.
