DOVER-FOXTROT -- Partners for Peace wrapped up its push for awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month by highlighting its "Clothesline Project" at the Partners for Peace resource center in Dover-Foxcroft.
The t-shirts on the clothesline were created by survivors of abuse and violence or were created by victims' loved ones. Partners for Peace says creating the shirts is one way for survivors of abuse to share a bit of their story. It's also a way for community members to view these pieces of art and gain perspective on what survivors have been through.
