BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - An apartment fire broke out in downtown Bismarck on Thursday.

Fire crews responded to the 300 block of Thayer Avenue just after 6 p.m. and put out a small kitchen fire on the second floor of the building. Firefighters said no one was hurt.

They were still working to assess the situation when KFYR-TV was at the scene.

Firefighters could not tell us how many people lived in the apartment, how many units were affected, and if anyone was displaced.
