(NewsNation) — Sean "Diddy" Combs attorney Mark Geragos believes President Donald Trump and the rap mogul have similar experiences of legal persecution.

In turn, Geragos told "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" that if a pardon occurred, it would be somewhat influenced by a "resonance" between the pair.

A White House official said Tuesday that the president is not considering a pardon despite reports from TMZ.
