Kannada Bigg Boss fame Tanisha Kuppanda , who has acted in Undenama, Body God , and Pen Drive , debuts as a producer in Sandalwood with Kona that is scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 31. Komal plays the lead while Tanisha is paired opposite him in this movie touted as a dark comedy.

Komal said that his classmates and teachers used to call him Kona during his school days. “I was not comfortable when they called me that. I never expected to play the lead in a movie titled Kona. The movie has turned out well. I thank the cast and crew for their support,” said Komal.

Tanisha said that Ravi Kiran and Karthik encouraged her to bankroll this movie. “I play Lakshmi in the movie, the wife of Naryana, played by Komal sir. It is a different role.
