Boys soccer: Copley exits state tourney against third-seeded Canfield

Canfield 6, Copley 1 : The Cardinals took a Division III, Northeast 3 district semifinal win from visiting Copley (7-12). Senior Ryan Dangol scored twice for Canfield (15-2).

Volleyball: Hoban takes district crown

Archbishop Hoban 25-25-25, Warren Howland 12-12-12 : In three sets, Hoban (20-5) claimed a Division III district title with a sweep of Howland. Madison Mintz had three service aces and dished out 35 assists for the Knights. Samantha Dehrmann had 17 kills in the win.
