TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Stargazers in Southern Arizona have an exciting opportunity to catch a glimpse of Comet Lemmon, but time is running out.

Carson Fuls, director of the Catalina Sky Survey, shared insights on the comet's current visibility.

"... northwest just after sunset and as nights go on it's gonna be moving more towards the west and then to the south," Fuls said.

Comet Lemmon, which was discovered on Mount Lemmon back in January, can be seen with binoculars, a small telescope, or even with the naked eye under the right conditions. The comet is already 55 million miles away from Earth but remains visible for a few more days.
