America250 , the official nonpartisan entity charged by Congress with planning the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, has announced a series of national tentpole programs and events to commemorate and celebrate the semiquincentennial of the United States.

A major celebration, including a full military parade , is planned for the anniversary itself on July 4, 2026, but there are a series of events being held across the country in the year leading up to it. You can find a full calendar of events here.
