From an outsider’s perspective, it’s a different time for the Coal Bucket game.
For the first time in 29 years, the bucket will start the night on the purple side of the field, as Shamokin won it last year by a 21-0 count on the road. But even though the Indians are defending the Bucket, they’re not treating this game any differently than previous games.
