EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - As we inch closer to Halloween, everyone is getting the chance to have some holiday fun, including some four-legged friends.
Kay C’s Barkville hosted a ‘Howl-a-ween’ Party for area dogs.
Dog owners were encouraged to dress up their furry friend in a costume, take a picture, and maybe even win some prizes.
The dog park is usually members-only outside of one day a month. President of Kay C’s Barkville, Ginger Happe, says they hold regular free events to let others enjoy the park and encourage them to become members.
“We love to provide that to the community because this was a asset that our city was really lacking,” Happe says. “Our dog park is over 3 acres, and it’s maintained by itself... So, we love having free events, adoption event. We try to have one a qua
