Third-seeded South River defeated second-seeded Woodbridge 5-3 in the semifinal round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Invitational in Woodbridge behind two goals each from Gabriella Castelhano and Olivia Clemente.

The first half saw back-and-forth scoring with South River holding a 3-2 edge at the break before outscoring Woodbridge 2-1 in the second half.
