Kansas City Chiefs head coach Josh Simmons provided some clarity on the mysterious absence of star rookie offensive tackle Josh Simmons ahead of their Week 8 ‘Monday Night Football’ clash with the Washington Commanders.

Josh Simmons missed the Chiefs’ Week 6 home game against the Detroit Lions (a 30-17 Kansas City victory) with what was reported to be a “personal” issue. Before their Week 7 game, Andy Reid declined to comment on Simmons’ situation.

Unhappy with the questions from reporters about Simmons on Monday, coach Reid told them to “move on” a day after a 31-0 shutout win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
